To make it short, Yogi is always there to assist
you. It has been almost 5 years since I have known Yogi when he set up my website and since then he has always offered to update my website to the latest version. He has been very helpful throughout the times i have known him. I use it extensively. It saves me a lot of time and tedious, repititous typing needed for making consistant interfaces. Not only is it a huge time saver, it makes for consistant coding standards that can be adopted at an organization so developers can maintain others code without much learning curve. His code generator has saved numerous hours in development time and has helped our organization create code that is consistent and easy to maintain. Because much of the repetitive, time-consuming work is completed for the programmer, more time can be spent on design. Yogi spends numerous hours of his own time researching technology and keeping up-to-date with the latest and best programming practices. The SDCOE reaps great benefits from Yogi's expertise. He not only incorporates the latest technologies into his daily work but he also instructs other programmers in those techniques. Yogi has written several utilities such as an EDI generator that allows for rapid .Net development. The entire software applications staff benefits from Yogi's achievements and knowledge. Work Quantity Yogi is currently finishing development on several products. In addition to finishing the Accounts Receivable module, he has created a Travel Authorization system that will be released shortly. While working on those projects, Yogi is also actively working on a process to receive and send information from Graphic's new third party application. Additionally, he is the primary support programmer for the Auditor transfer process, the Student System fall submission process, the ROP Fixed Asset system, the CALPADS project and is involved with the Employee self service portal as well as assisting with continued support for the Clarity system. In addition to these numerous tasks, Yogi provides backup for me in a managerial capacity when I am out of the office. Interpersonal Skills/Work Attitude Yogi is a consummate team player. I can honestly say that I have never worked with any other programmer who has exhibited Yogi's dedication and superior work ethic. Frequently, Yogi checks with me over the weekend or in the evenings to ask if everything is going okay or to ask if I need any assistance with anything. He has truly taken ownership of the systems he works on. Because of Yogi's tremendous attitude, every member of the programming staff approaches Yogi for advice and help with programming assignments. Overall Yogi is an excellent programmer with impeccable work habits. His high-level of creativity along with his work style, attention to detail, and positive attitude make him a valued member of the FIS team. As Yogi's manager, I have come to rely on Yogi in numerous ways. I have the utmost confidence in Yogi's ability and judgement. Areas/Opportunities for Growth Yogi will continue to be tasked with major projects and learning the Financial system. Over the past year, Yogi has gained much knowledge of the system but there are still major areas such as the Commercial Warrant processing, Purchase order system, Stores system, BPS system and Fixed Assets system that he needs to learn.
